During our stay, only a couple of tents were occupied. The camp was very clean. We appreciated the feeling of staying in the nature (bush). Moreover, the crew was quite friendly and attentive. The food was also quite good. Overall, we had great time in this place.Verified

This was truly an extraordinary experience that left no wishes open, and the Soroi made sure of it. The games drives and our guide, the staff at the camp, the food/culinary offering, the luxurious tents and the booking process was simply fantastic. I can not recommend the camp enough!!Verified

We stayed at the Mara Bush Camp for our family safari trip and really enjoyed the stay, from beginning to end! The rooms are extremely clean and give you the feeling of being totally immersed in nature, facing the river and surrounded by trees. The food and service was great overall and it really felt like home. Definitely recommend at least a few days here if visiting the Maasai Mara Reserve.Verified

Tristan W2024-01-20Amazing Home in a Wonderful Park This was the only place we booked on our safari that wasn't a lodge, so we didn't know what to expect - but we're so unbelievably happy we stayed here! From the moment we arrived, Nelson and his staff made us feel at home, and everything about our time there was amazing. The location inside the park puts you moments from animals when you leave on game drives. The tents feel both luxurious and adventurous, and they come with full working bathrooms inside. You really can hear hippos grunting and moving in the distance at night (which is fascinating), but it always feels very safe with guards on patrol. The food was delicious, the drink menu was very sizable, and the early morning wake-up visits with coffee right on the patio were the best way to start the day. We especially loved just talking to the staff at the camp. On Christmas Eve, after being surprised with a magical sundown barbecue combining all three Soroi camps for the holiday, the two of us sat around the campfire swapping stories with Nelson and his associate Adam for almost two hours. Next to the tree, it really did feel like Christmas, and it was such a wonderful start to our trip that we'll never forget. For the game drives, our guide Dan had grown up in a local Masai village and was a master at finding cool things before the other guide cars. This led to some unbelievable moments (especially with baby lions) and the best photos we've ever taken. We highly recommend getting breakfast to go in the morning and eating it out under an acacia tree. We thought this would just be a one-time trip, but now we can't wait to come back! Nelson and his staff anticipate all your needs and coordinate the best experiences you can ever want. Game drives, balloon rides, nightly campfires (with wonderful cocktails), and the best meals! This camp is located in an incredible location and offers everything you've dreamed about going on a safari!! With luxuries thrown in, too! You can't go wrong being a guest here.Verified

Ariane G2023-12-28Incredible bush camp This hotel was so magical, in the heart of a bush in the parc, you can hear animals in trees, near the river and enjoy the silence of the savana. The staff is so nice to help us to hold our luggage, go with us to our tent, ask if we need anything. The tents have everything you need to appreciate your days, have all the comodities even if we are in the middle of a bush where we are very far from civilization ! The extra : hot water bottles in bed in the evening !

Rocio Podesta2024-02-09What an excellent place! I can not recommend the Soroi Mara Bush Camp enough. From the minute our driver Keiwa picked us up at the airstrip it just got better and better. We booked directly via them per mail and Leah and the entire team went out of their way to accommodate all our wishes (allergies, flights, transfers, room wishes, etc!) The camp is beautiful, tucked away in the bush next to a river with hippos! It has no fence, allowing animals to wonder around. (Safety was provided, don’t worry!) The infrastructure is all you could ask for and leaves no open wishes. Two very strong points are the people and the culinary skills! Corinne Hofmann2024-01-27Etwas vom Besten was ich als Safaris gesehen habe. Tolle, neue stabile Zelte direkt am Fluss. Wir konnten morgens früh Kaffee auf die Terrasse bestellen auch um 05.30 und den Hippos beim baden zuschauen bevor wir auf die Morgensafari gingen. Obwohl aussergewöhnlich viel Regen nachts herrschte und die Buschstrassen enorm schwierig waren hat uns der tolle Fahrer von Sunworld Safari zu allen Tieren gefahren. Auch für mich als " weisse Massai" eine neue Dimension vor 20 Löwen zu sitzen. Überhaupt erstaunlich wie nahe es möglich war Gepard, Leopard, Elefanten etc. Zu beobachten. Unglaublich. Das Camp darf man nicht missen wenn man geschmackvolle Einrichtungen in grosszügigen Zelten zu schätzen weiss. Sicherheit ist zu jeder Zeit gewährt obwohl man sich mitten in der Massai Mara befindet. The accommodation was second to none, the food was delicious and great choices. Service - nothing was too much trouble. Complete attention to detail, including noticing upon check in that it was our daughter's birthday and arranging a celebration and cake.
